In May 2020, he became deputy general manager of Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. of CPC and vice president of Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute. Since August 2025, he has served as executive director and general manager of Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. of CPC, and president of Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute.
If approved, Mr. Wang’s service contract will be effective from the date of the extraordinary general meeting until the end of the eleventh Board’s term in June 2027. He will not receive remuneration for the non-executive director role. According to the announcement, Mr. Wang does not hold any shares in Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation and has not been subject to any regulatory penalties or disciplinary actions.
