Xiaomi-W Issues 20,000 New Class B Shares and Repurchases 1.94 Million Shares on 14 August 2026

Xiaomi-W (Xiaomi Corporation) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 14 August 2026 detailing minor share issuance and continued execution of its share-buyback programme.

Key developments on 14 August 2026 1. Share award exercise • Xiaomi-W issued 20,000 new weighted-voting-right (WVR) Class B ordinary shares to a non-director participant under a share scheme at HKD 2.70 per share. • Class B shares in issue rose marginally by 0.0001% to 21.33 billion.

2. Daily on-market repurchase • The company bought back 1.94 million Class B shares on the Exchange at prices between HKD 25.64 and HKD 25.72, spending HKD 49.81 million. • These shares are earmarked for cancellation.

Progress of the 2026 repurchase mandate • Shareholders authorised Xiaomi-W on 2 June 2026 to repurchase up to 2.58 billion shares. • Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 104.01 million shares, equivalent to 0.40% of the issued share capital on the mandate date. • As at 14 August 2026, 20.39 million repurchased Class B shares await cancellation.

Share capital snapshot • Total issued shares (excluding treasury) on 13 August 2026: 25.76 billion, comprising 4.43 billion Class A shares and 21.33 billion Class B shares. • Post issuance on 14 August, Class B shares outstanding increased to 21.33 billion.

Upcoming restrictions Following the 14 August buyback, Xiaomi-W is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 13 September 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong listing rules.
