2026年7月28日，中国石油化工股份发布翌日披露报表，公告于当日通过上海证券交易所回购A股1,300,000股，占公司A股已发行股本约0.001%。每股购回价格介乎人民币5.06元至5.16元，合计支付人民币约6,638,607元（约663.86万元）。
本次回购完成后，截至2026年7月28日，公司A股已发行股本仍为97,142,913,622股，H股已发行股本维持23,782,600,600股，所回购股份尚未注销。公司表示，上述回购行为符合相关上市规则和适用法律法规的要求。
