Virscend Education buys back 2.10 million shares, lifting treasury stock to 10.68 million

Virscend Education Company Limited disclosed a further share repurchase on 16 July 2026, acquiring 2.10 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging between HKD 0.191 and HKD 0.1938. The volume-weighted average consideration per share was approximately HKD 0.19113, bringing the total cash outlay for the day to HKD 0.40 million.

Following the transaction, Virscend’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.07 % to 3.08 billion shares, while the company’s treasury share balance rose to 10.68 million shares. The overall number of issued shares, including treasury stock, remains unchanged at 3.09 billion.

The buy-back forms part of a repurchase mandate approved on 23 January 2026 that allows the company to repurchase up to 308.88 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 10.68 million shares, equivalent to 0.35 % of the share base as at the mandate date. In line with Hong Kong listing regulations, Virscend is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals until 15 August 2026.

The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with Main Board Rule 10.06 and that there have been no material changes to the repurchase mandate’s explanatory statement.
