Data released on February 28 by the Xinhua News Agency Oil Price System indicated that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils was 2.77% on February 27. According to China's Oil Price Management Measures, domestic gasoline and diesel prices are adjusted every ten working days based on changes in international crude oil prices, with the new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced. If the price adjustment is less than 50 yuan per ton, no change will be made, and the difference will be carried over to the next adjustment cycle. Under special circumstances specified in the measures, price adjustments may be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a smaller margin. February 28 marks the fourth working day of the current pricing cycle, with the next price adjustment window scheduled to open at 24:00 on March 9.
