Beijing Energy International (00686) Subsidiary Jingxin Signs EPC Contract with Consortium

On January 6, 2026, Jingxin, a non-wholly owned subsidiary of the company, acting as the contract awarder, entered into an EPC contract with a consortium unit, which will serve as the contractor. Pursuant to the EPC contract, the consortium unit will provide EPC services to Jingxin for the construction of the EPC project, with a total contract value of approximately RMB 263 million (tax inclusive). After evaluating the development of photovoltaic power generation and clean energy projects in China, along with their anticipated investment returns, the company maintains an optimistic outlook for the sector's foreseeable future. The Group is persistently expanding its footprint in the clean and renewable energy business while concurrently optimizing its operational structure. The execution of the EPC contract aligns strategically with national policies that promote the development of renewable and clean energy bases. These arrangements are expected to bolster the Group's ongoing expansion of its photovoltaic power generation portfolio, strengthen its project pipeline in key regions, and ultimately enhance its operational flexibility and long-term sustainability.
