HKR International Ltd (HKR INT'L) (SEHK: 00480) has announced its financial results for the year ended March 31.

The company reported a revenue of HK$2.947 billion, representing a significant increase of 68.1% compared to the previous year. This substantial growth is primarily attributed to the recognition of sales from the Shanghai property development project Xing Yun Jian.

For the same period, the loss attributable to the company's owners was HK$262 million. This figure marks a notable improvement, with the loss narrowing by 66.6% year-on-year.

The company cited several key factors contributing to this improved financial performance. These include the sale of two luxury residential properties in Discovery Bay, a reduction in finance costs, and a decrease in the unrealized fair value loss on investment properties.

The basic loss per share for the year was 17.7 HK cents.
