Bairong AI Cuts Outstanding Shares by 0.04% Through HK$0.92 Million Buyback

Bairong AI Inc. disclosed a share repurchase on 8 October 2026 that reduced its outstanding Class B weighted-voting-right (WVR) ordinary shares by 169,000, equivalent to 0.04 percent of the 370.15 million shares outstanding before the transaction.

The company bought the shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK$5.43 and HK$5.47, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$5.46 per share and an aggregate outlay of HK$0.92 million. The repurchased stock is being held as treasury shares, lifting the treasury balance to 25.43 million shares, while total issued shares remain unchanged at 395.41 million.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 30 June 2026 that authorises Bairong AI to repurchase up to 44.99 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has repurchased 7.28 million shares under the mandate, amounting to 1.62 percent of the share base at the time the authority was granted.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, Bairong AI is now subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 7 November 2026.
