Citigroup (C.US) announced on November 20 that Gonzalo Luchetti will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) starting March 2026. Additionally, the bank will integrate its retail banking and Citigold services into its wealth management division.

Luchetti will succeed current CFO Mark Mason, who will transition to the position of Executive Vice Chairman and serve as a senior executive advisor to Chairman and CEO Jane Fraser.

The U.S. team will oversee day-to-day operations for retail banking and Citigold, including Citi Priority, Citigold, and Citigold Private Client, with Kate Luft leading the U.S. retail banking and Citigold business.

This restructuring aims to accelerate growth by enhancing synergies across relationship tiers while consolidating management of consumer deposit operations.
