远东控股国际（股份代号：00036）发布公告称，董事会已获授一项一般及无条件授权，最高可回购相当于公司于决议案通过当日已发行股本10%的股份。该计划以2026年4月1日发行总数326,735,577股为基准，意味着最多可回购32,673,557股。
远东控股国际公告指出，所有购回所需资金将来自可合法用于此用途的公司资金，符合香港公司条例及相关上市规则。董事会认为，股份购回将有助提升每股资产价值及股东回报，一旦市况及财务状况允许，公司将择机在最佳利益基础上进行回购。
公告显示，该公司在过去十二个月曾出现最高及最低股价分别为0.66港元（2025年7月）及0.136港元（2025年11月），但年初至3月以来处于暂停交易状态。此外，公司定于2026年6月17日召开股东周年大会，以表决并正式批准回购相关事宜；为确定股东大会投票权，公司股票将于6月12日至6月17日暂停过户登记。
