Meilan Airport Delays Circular on Non-Exempt Continuing Connected Transactions to 5 June 2026

Hainan Meilan International Airport Company Limited (Meilan Airport) announced a further postponement in sending out its shareholder circular related to Framework Agreements and Non-exempt Continuing Connected Transactions.

The circular was initially scheduled for despatch on or before 20 May 2026, following earlier postponements disclosed on 27 March 2026 and 28 April 2026. Owing to additional time required to finalise details—specifically the Independent Financial Adviser’s letter of advice—management now targets a new deadline of on or before 5 June 2026.

The pending circular will contain: 1. Expanded information on the Non-exempt Continuing Connected Transactions; 2. The Independent Financial Adviser’s recommendations to the Independent Board Committee and Independent Shareholders; 3. The Independent Board Committee’s letter to Independent Shareholders; and 4. Notice convening the extraordinary general meeting.
