The transaction was executed within a price range of HKD 0.194 to HKD 0.195 per share, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HKD 0.19408 per share.
The repurchase represents 0.20% of the company’s 3.06 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) outstanding before the transaction. Post-buyback, the number of issued shares outstanding decreased to 3.06 billion, while total issued share capital remained unchanged at 3.09 billion due to the reclassification of the repurchased shares as treasury stock.
Treasury shares held by Virscend Education increased from 27.72 million to 33.72 million following the latest purchase. To date, the company has repurchased 33.72 million shares—1.09% of the share count approved under the current mandate granted on 23 January 2026, which allows for up to 308.88 million shares to be bought back. The company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 21 August 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations.
