Rockwell Automation's stock soared 13.18% during intraday trading on Tuesday, following the release of its fiscal second-quarter financial results.

The significant price movement was driven by the company reporting better-than-expected earnings and sales for the quarter, coupled with an upward revision to its full-year profit forecast. Rockwell posted adjusted earnings per share of $3.30, surpassing the analyst consensus estimate of $2.89, while quarterly sales rose 12% to $2.24 billion, also beating expectations.

Furthermore, the industrial automation maker raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance to a range of $12.50 to $13.10, up from its previous outlook of $11.40 to $12.20 and above analyst estimates. The company cited strong demand across key segments including warehouse automation, data centers, semiconductors, and energy as drivers for the improved performance and optimistic outlook.
