Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed that on 11 May 2026 it repurchased 1.00 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 2.73 and HKD 2.74, for a total consideration of HKD 2.74 million. The volume equates to 0.04 % of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction.
Following the buyback, the number of issued shares outstanding declined to 2.72 billion, while treasury shares increased to 23.50 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 2.75 billion.
The repurchase formed part of the mandate approved on 02 June 2025, which authorises the company to buy back up to 277.18 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 23.50 million shares, representing 0.85 % of the issued shares as of the mandate date.
Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, Zhongyu Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 10 June 2026.
