CHINA QINFA (00866) Expects to Commence TSE Coal Mine Construction in Q1 2026

CHINA QINFA (00866) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary PT Trisula Sumber Energi (TSE) has provided an update on the coal mine development progress in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The TSE Coal Mine is located in the northern part of Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan Province, situated on the eastern foothills of the Meratus Mountains. The mining concession covers an area of 168 square kilometers, spanning parts of Kelumpang Hulu and Kelumpang Barat. The coal mining business permit (No. 03/1/IUP/PMA/2024) is valid for ten years until May 14, 2034, with a potential ten-year renewal.

Currently, the TSE Coal Mine is in the pre-operational planning phase, with construction yet to begin. The company anticipates commencing mine construction activities in the first quarter of 2026. According to the Competent Person's Reports for both the TSE Coal Mine and the SDE Coal Mine, the coal calorific value at TSE ranges between 4,990 to 6,056 kcal/kg, significantly higher than the approximately 4,500 kcal/kg at the group's existing SDE Coal Mine.

As of September 30, 2025, the estimated coal reserves at TSE stand at 379 million metric tons, with total estimated coal resources (measured + indicated) reaching 897 million metric tons.
