INNOVENT BIO released its eighth ESG Report, detailing material improvements in governance, environmental performance and stakeholder engagement for the year ended 31 December 2025. The Board-approved document covers 50 operating entities across China, the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia. Key disclosures are as follows:
• Excellent governance – The company held its MSCI ESG rating at AAA and completed 192 compliance-themed training sessions covering 28,277 participants. All staff, directors, suppliers and partners achieved a 100% completion or signing rate for integrity and anti-corruption commitments.
• Inclusive healthcare – The marketed portfolio expanded to 18 products, with 12 now listed on China’s National Reimbursement Drug List. Patient assistance programmes accumulated 238,000 beneficiaries and RMB 4.00 billion in cumulative drug donations; 2025 donations alone were valued at RMB 430.00 million, reaching 38,400 additional patients.
• High-quality operations – All in-house commercialised products now have dual-source supply. Production sites retained full GMP compliance and 100% of operating plants achieved ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. No product recalls or fatalities were reported.
• People metrics – Females represented 51% of global headcount and 45.2% of management. Staff satisfaction reached 97.1%; the organisation delivered 317,694 training hours, averaging 43.03 hours per employee.
• Climate and resource targets – Energy consumption per production unit fell 28% year-on-year, water use intensity dropped 42% and hazardous-waste intensity declined 44%. Compared with the 2020 baseline, greenhouse-gas emissions per unit of product were cut 72.7%.
• Carbon strategy – The group committed to a 5% annual reduction in energy and water intensity and a 10% decrease in Scope 1+2 emissions intensity by 2030. A rooftop photovoltaic system at the Shanghai R&D centre now generates 30,000 kWh annually, while ISO 14064-verified total emissions for 2025 were 101,948 tCO₂-e (Scope 1: 7,803 t; Scope 2: 74,685 t; Scope 3: 19,460 t).
• Audit and assurance – Two internal and two external environmental-management audits were completed; 21 environmental-impact assessments covered all production and R&D facilities.
Management states that Innovent BIO will continue to align capital allocation, supply-chain oversight and product innovation with its 2030 resource-efficiency and emissions goals.
