CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055) announced that in August 2025, the group's passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometers) increased 6.37% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international segments rising 4.89%, 3.43%, and 11.35% respectively. Passenger turnover (measured by revenue passenger kilometers) grew 5.97% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international segments increasing 4.93%, 6.04%, and 9.40% respectively. The passenger load factor reached 86.99%, declining 0.32 percentage points year-on-year, with domestic and regional segments up 0.04 and 2.07 percentage points respectively, while international segment dropped 1.52 percentage points.

In terms of cargo operations, August 2025 cargo capacity (measured by available ton kilometers for cargo and mail) rose 0.90% year-on-year. Cargo and mail turnover (measured by revenue ton kilometers for cargo and mail) increased 5.48% year-on-year. The cargo and mail load factor was 50.83%, up 2.21 percentage points year-on-year.

In August 2025, the group did not add any major new routes. The group introduced 7 aircraft (including 2 A321NEO aircraft, 2 A320NEO aircraft, 2 B737-8 aircraft, and 1 B787-9 aircraft) and retired 5 aircraft (including 1 A319 aircraft, 1 A321 aircraft, 1 A330-200 aircraft, and 2 B737-800 aircraft). As of the end of August 2025, the group operated a total fleet of 952 transport aircraft.
