CHINA EAST AIR (00670) announced that the company's passenger capacity input (measured by available seat kilometers) increased by 6.76% year-over-year in August 2025. Passenger turnover (measured by revenue passenger kilometers) rose by 8.72% year-over-year, while the load factor reached 88.34%, up 1.59 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Cargo and mail turnover (measured by freight ton kilometers) surged by 16.39% year-over-year in August 2025.

In August 2025, the company expanded its domestic market operations by launching new routes including Ordos-Yangzhou, Hefei-Lüliang, Wenzhou-Beihai, and Wuhan-Tangshan. The airline also resumed flights on routes such as Ningbo-Nanchang and Beijing Daxing-Yueyang, while increasing frequency on routes including Shanghai Hongqiao-Xining, Shanghai Hongqiao-Changsha, Shanghai Pudong-Changsha, Shanghai Pudong-Yibin, and Beijing Daxing-Ulanhot.

For international and regional markets, the company resumed the Nanchang-Singapore route and increased frequency on the Guangzhou-Bangkok route.

During August 2025, CHINA EAST AIR added four passenger aircraft to its fleet, comprising one B787 series, one B737 series, one A320 series, and one C909 aircraft. As of the end of August 2025, the company operated a total fleet of 818 aircraft.
