CSRC Aims to Position A-Share Market as Premier Listing Destination for Top Domestic Firms

At a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on September 10 as part of the "Launching the 15th Five-Year Plan" series, Li Chao, Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), outlined plans to adopt a more inclusive system for initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.

According to Li, the regulatory body is committed to reforming these mechanisms to establish the A-share market as the preferred venue for high-quality domestic companies to go public. By fostering a more accommodating framework, the CSRC seeks to attract leading enterprises and enhance the market's overall competitiveness.
