Recently, Xi'an Zhentai Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Previously, the company had already obtained certificates for three products: an electroencephalogram (EEG) acquisition and analysis system (BCI+), an upper and lower limb active-passive motion rehabilitation training system (PT), and a hand function rehabilitation training and assessment system (OT). With this latest approval, the number of product registration certificates held by Zhentai Intelligent in the BCI rehabilitation field has increased to four, further consolidating its leading position in innovative rehabilitation medical technology. According to statistics, stroke is the leading cause of disability among adults in China. Patients often suffer from varying degrees of motor dysfunction, severely impacting their daily lives. However, conventional rehabilitation therapies currently offer limited effectiveness for post-stroke motor impairment, whereas BCI technology provides a new approach for stroke rehabilitation. The newly approved "Speech and Cognitive Function Rehabilitation Training and Assessment System" from Zhentai Intelligent is designed to aid the rehabilitation of patients with cognitive impairments such as speech and memory disorders caused by stroke and other brain injuries. This system integrates brain-computer interface technology with digital rehabilitation training; patients only need to wear a lightweight "EEG cap," and the system can safely read their brain activity signals to provide personalized training content. During training, patients simply need to concentrate, enabling them to interact through "thought" to complete a series of tasks simulating real-life scenarios, such as interactive games and virtual shopping. The system comes pre-loaded with over 20 different training scenarios, comprehensively covering dimensions like attention, memory, thinking, and daily application. This immediate "thought-feedback" loop effectively promotes the recovery of brain function. Simultaneously, when used in conjunction with its EEG acquisition system, doctors can observe changes in the patient's brain function in real-time, making the rehabilitation process clear, visible, and evidence-based. For assessment, the system incorporates more than ten internationally recognized cognitive assessment tests, including the MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment), fully meeting the evaluation needs throughout the rehabilitation process. Furthermore, the system records the patient's EEG waves and training data throughout the session, automatically generating progress reports. This allows rehabilitation outcomes to be tracked quantitatively and supported by evidence, significantly enhancing the precision and efficiency of diagnosis and treatment. The system also supports personalized settings, allowing training content to be adjusted according to each patient's specific condition, helping patients comprehensively improve various cognitive functions. In conventional circumstances, the disability rate for stroke patients is 70-80%. Compared to traditional acupuncture therapy, BCI technology can help reconnect impaired neural pathways and the central nervous system. A relevant person in charge at Zhentai Intelligent stated, "Our rehabilitation equipment can reduce treatment time by nearly one-third compared to traditional therapies and devices, lowering the disability rate to below 50%." The approval of this new product signifies a further completion of Zhentai Intelligent's industry-first "BCI+PT/OT/ST Universal Brain-Computer Intelligent Rehabilitation Overall Solution." This solution establishes a complete intelligent rehabilitation matrix ranging from limb movement to high-level cognition, providing a one-stop technical platform for hospital rehabilitation departments, neurology departments, and rehabilitation institutions, thereby facilitating the popularization and application of BCI technology in clinical settings. Currently, Zhentai Intelligent's full series of BCI rehabilitation products have been adopted in over 300 hospitals across China, cumulatively serving approximately 100,000 patients.
