Samsonite lifts treasury stock to 97.45 million shares after HK$21.67 million buyback

Samsonite Group S.A. (Samsonite) disclosed a share repurchase on 2 June 2026, acquiring 1.47 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for HK$21.67 million. The purchase price ranged from HK$14.56 to HK$14.81, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of HK$14.72 per share.

Following the transaction: • Issued shares (excluding treasury) fell 0.11% to 1.37 billion. • Treasury shares increased to 97.45 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.47 billion. • The repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.

The buyback forms part of Samsonite’s repurchase mandate granted on 3 June 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 138.31 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now total 18.15 million shares, representing 1.31% of the company’s issued share capital at the mandate date. Under Hong Kong listing rules, Samsonite is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 2 July 2026.
