The Sharp LDK+ concept car has recently unveiled its latest official images, built on the Foxconn electric vehicle platform. Featuring a distinctive no B-pillar design, the vehicle will be showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show set to open on October 29, with a production version slated for official release in 2027. The Sharp LDK+ concept exhibits a boxy silhouette and a closed-style front, complemented by futuristic circular daytime running lights. Additionally, the vehicle includes a two-tone body and sliding side doors, fitted with non-hidden door handles, presenting a design that closely resembles a production car. Side images reveal the absence of a B-pillar, with reinforced structural elements likely present in the A-pillar and door sill to enhance safety. Notably, the front seats can rotate up to at least 180°, while a central storage coffee table integrates practicality between the front and rear seats. The Sharp LDK+ concept leverages Sharp's AIoT platform for connectivity with home devices and incorporates AI technology among its features.
