Yuexiu Transport Infrastructure (01052) Announces August 2025 Unaudited Operating Data

Bulletin Express
Oct 23

Yuexiu Transport Infrastructure Limited (01052) reported that most expressway projects under its management experienced month-on-month growth in both average daily traffic volume and toll revenue in August, supported by seasonal summer traffic. However, several projects in Guangdong and Guangxi saw year-on-year declines attributed to typhoon-related rainfall, which reduced vehicle flow.

In terms of network changes, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, operational since late June 2024, continued to create diversion pressure on Humen Bridge, though the impact has gradually narrowed. Ongoing reconstruction and expansion works on the northern section of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in Hubei also influenced Han-Xiao Expressway, while similar activities on Hanyi Expressway led to higher truck traffic on Hancai Expressway. Inconsistencies between traffic volume and toll revenue occurred in some cases due to differences between passenger-vehicle and truck toll rates.

Cangyu Expressway recorded a year-on-year decrease in August because of multiple diversions, including the opening of Pingcen Expressway and construction works on neighboring roads. Meanwhile, Weixu Expressway and Lanwei Expressway showed a partial recovery as the previously pronounced effects from local toll policies and adjacent reconstruction projects began to subside. Daguangnan Expressway posted notable growth in daily traffic volume and toll revenue after the introduction of point-to-point toll exemptions for eligible passenger vehicles and the closure of certain on-ramps in competing sections. Qinglian Expressway registered year-on-year increases in both traffic volume and toll revenue, supported by a lower diversion baseline in the same period of the previous year.

All figures in the announcement are unaudited, include value-added tax, and may differ from periodic report data once final calculations and reconciliations are completed. The average daily traffic volume figures refer specifically to vehicles that are subject to toll collection.
