EVEREST MED (01952) rose more than 3%, with the stock up 3.48% to HK$31.48 at the time of writing, generating a turnover of HK$133 million. The catalyst for the move was the company's recent announcement that it presented first-in-human (FIH) clinical trial data for its self-developed mRNA personalized therapeutic cancer vaccine, EVM16. The data, covering both monotherapy and combination therapy with a PD-1 inhibitor (tislelizumab) for advanced solid tumors, was shared at the 2026 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting. Analysts at Founder Securities noted that within the company's RNA platform, the off-the-shelf TAA mRNA vaccine EVM14 has achieved Investigational New Drug (IND) approvals in both China and the US and has completed dosing for the first enrolled patient. Additionally, the mRNA-based autologous CAR-T project EVM18 has completed proof-of-concept studies in non-human primates and is advancing towards clinical development. Regarding its proprietary pipeline, the company is set to release detailed Phase 1b/2a clinical study data for EVER001 (a BTK inhibitor) in the first half of 2026.
