The stock of ChinaSoft International (00354) has once again surged over 10%, bringing its cumulative gains since May 22 to nearly 50%. At the time of writing, the share price is up 8.26% to HK$4.72, with a turnover of HK$643 million.

The catalyst for this movement is the confirmation that the Huawei Developer Conference 2026 will be held from June 12 to 14. Information disclosed so far indicates the conference will focus on the new version of HarmonyOS, the core AI capabilities of HarmonyOS, and the latest achievements in its ecosystem. AI Agent and on-device AI are expected to be key focal points.

Analysts have noted that ChinaSoft International is deeply advancing its "One Body, Two Wings" strategic layout. This strategy centers on AI, with Physical AI and Digital AI as the two wings, focusing on two core growth engines: AI HarmonyOS and AI Intelligent Business Operating Systems. The company has successfully built a full-stack product and service capability spanning from intelligent perception in the physical world to intelligent enterprise operations.

There is positive sentiment regarding the HarmonyOS ecosystem as a domestically developed foundational operating system with inherent Internet of Things attributes and strong potential for integration with AI. It is projected that the company's new business segments will maintain rapid growth, with new business revenue potentially exceeding RMB 3 billion in 2026, while maintaining a gross margin of approximately 40%.
