At the XPeng Tech Day 2025 event, XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng stated that the global automobile market is currently valued at $10 trillion, with 90 million vehicles produced annually. However, he predicts the robotics market will grow to $20 trillion.

He noted that the automotive industry often follows a slower, linear growth curve due to stringent safety regulations and policy dependencies. In contrast, robotics could experience rapid expansion once technological and product breakthroughs occur.

"In my view, the iPhone 4 was Apple's first truly groundbreaking product, after which the industry accelerated dramatically. Similarly, robotics may witness a major turning point in its fourth or fifth generation," he remarked.
