Breton (01333) surged more than 22%, reaching 21.9% as of press time to HK$19.65, with a turnover of HK$28.5007 million.

On the news front, Breton recently signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Inhoy Investment (Private) Limited. The two parties plan to engage in long-term cooperation in areas including electric mining truck sales agency, solar-storage project construction, and mining equipment investment and operations. It is reported that both parties plan to share profits from mining area projects after equipment investment is completed and the mining area project generates sales revenue. As a result, Breton's cooperation model in African mines is extending further from equipment, power, and service revenue to long-term project operating results.

It is worth noting that, according to an earlier report by Jiemian, Breton plans to enter a phase of scaled profitability in 2027, with a profit target of "doubling every year" for several years thereafter. Breton Chairman Chen Fangming recently told reporters that the company aims to achieve annual profit exceeding 5 billion yuan by 2031. As of June this year, Breton had nearly 100 mining trucks equipped with autonomous driving systems put into business operations. Under the current charging model, this business can generate approximately 20 million yuan in revenue annually.
