Sanli Environmental Limited said on Feb, 5 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sanli M&E Engineering Pte. Ltd., has signed a joint venture agreement with Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. to create the unincorporated “SANLI–STECS CNF3 JOINT VENTURE.”
The new venture, held equally by the two parties, will act as subcontractor for works related to the Changi NEWater Factory 3 project previously awarded to Sanli M&E by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. Under sub-subcontract arrangements, Sanli M&E will handle mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation, structural steel and building management system works, while STECS will be responsible for civil, structural, architectural and external works, including building services excluding the building management system.
A four-member management committee will oversee the venture, with Sanli M&E appointing the chairman. Key operational and financial decisions will require unanimous committee approval.
Sanli Environmental expects the joint venture to have no material impact on the Group’s consolidated net tangible assets or earnings per share for the financial year ending Mar, 31 2026. The company said it will update shareholders on any material developments.
