华尔街见闻：鲍威尔暂停加息周期，美联储进入利率观望模式

美联储在利率政策上开启了新一轮的观望模式，并暗示并不急于重启降息。此次将基准联邦基金利率维持在3.5%至3.75%区间不变的决定，以10比2的投票结果获得通过。两位美联储理事斯蒂芬·米兰和克里斯托弗·沃勒对央行的这一决定投下了反对票。

随着投资者仔细聆听主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔在新闻发布会上的言论，以期寻找央行下次降息时机的线索，股市走势震荡，美元则守住了早盘的涨幅。周三，黄金价格飙升至每盎司5300美元上方，创下历史新高。标普500指数和道琼斯工业指数收盘几无变动，而纳斯达克指数微升0.2%。

前总统特朗普一直力促美联储主席应更积极地降息，并接纳他关于下一步利率走向的意见。然而，特朗普所期望的或许并不存在——一位既能遵循其大幅降息要求，又能在华尔街及其同僚中保有足够信誉以推行政策的新任主席。

周三美元继续走强，延续涨势。此前，财政部长斯科特·贝森特表示美国奉行强势美元政策，并且绝对没有干预汇市。周二的美元抛售部分是由特朗普言论引发的，他当时声称并不担心美元贬值。

全球最大咖啡连锁店星巴克表示，其业务扭转策略正吸引更多顾客回流。上一季度，其美国同店销售额实现了自2023年以来的首次增长。该股周三早盘一度上涨2%，但收盘时下跌0.6%。
