Prudential plc updates share capital following scrip dividend and buyback

Prudential plc announced on May, 14 2026 that its issued share count increased to about 2.524 billion ordinary shares after issuing roughly 5.72 million new shares under the 2025 second interim dividend scrip alternative and 2,442 shares through option exercises.
The company also confirmed it had cancelled a total of 509,940 previously repurchased shares and bought back a further 257,617 shares on May, 13 2026 on the London Stock Exchange for an average price of about GBP 11.47 each, spending approximately 5.0 million Singapore dollars. All newly repurchased shares are scheduled for cancellation.
