CHINANEWENERGY（China New Energy Limited，股票代码01156，香港联合交易所上市）公告称，正寻求股东大会批准股份购回的一般授权，拟回购不超过已发行股本总数10%的股份。基于最后可行日期，CHINANEWENERGY已发行股份数约为589,758,898股，并无持有任何库存股份，故本次购回上限为58,975,889股。
公告指出，本次购回将依据相关上市规则和公司注册地法律规定，并以合法资金来源进行。董事会认为，适时进行股份购回有助于增强每股资产净值和每股盈利，符合公司及股东整体利益。公司同时表示，目前并无立即启动回购的具体计划，未来将根据市场情况酌情运用授权。根据公司公告，回购价格范围参考最后可行日期前若干交易日内香港联交所的市场价格。
上述授权尚待于2026年6月30日召开的股东周年大会审议通过。公司将自当年6月25日至6月30日暂停办理股份过户登记，以确定股东大会投票权益。董事会强调，本次购回有望进一步提升股东回报，并在必要时调整公司资本结构。
