Xiaomi has launched its new Mijia Pre-Filter Pro water filtration system, now available on JD.com and other platforms for 799 yuan, with promotional prices starting from 679.15 yuan after subsidies.
The device utilizes advanced 40-micron biomimetic gill filtration technology combined with a water-driven self-cleaning system, enabling comprehensive source filtration and automatic cleaning while protecting water-using household appliances.
The filter system effectively blocks various contaminants from tap water, including rust, sediment, hair, paper debris, insect eggs, and algae, achieving an impressive 98.6% filtration rate. The unit supports programmable automatic cleaning cycles at 7-day, 15-day, or 30-day intervals.
The cleaning mechanism employs a 360-degree rotary backwash system. During the cleaning process, filter discs open up while high-pressure water jets create reverse flow, driving the discs to rotate at high speed and generating centrifugal force that strips away accumulated pollutants through high-speed direct flushing.
With an 8T/h flow capacity, the system can simultaneously handle water demands across multiple scenarios including kitchen, bathroom, and balcony usage. The device can filter approximately 8.9 bottles worth of bottled water per minute.
This product launch reinforces Xiaomi's expansion into smart home water treatment solutions, targeting consumers seeking comprehensive household water filtration systems.
