The Denza N8L EV has officially launched on the evening of September 16, offering two trims: the Flash Charge Premium and Flash Charge Flagship, priced at 299,800 yuan and 329,800 yuan respectively. As the first model to feature the AI Super Agent DidaXia, the vehicle debuts with integrated ecosystem partners including Alipay, COLMO, NetEase Cloud Music, and Volcano Engine.
The AI-powered DidaXia system is fully compatible with the Agent ecosystem, supporting A2A and MCP standard protocols, permitting global third-party AI agents and developers to access BYD's intelligent ecosystem. The new model further integrates smart cabin technology with the DiPilot 5.0 advanced driver assistance system, offering enhanced CPU performance for smoother in-car operation, with the capacity to run multiple apps across screens without lag, plus a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display.
The DiPilot 5.0 leverages reinforcement learning end-to-end large models, enabling self-learning and self-evolution capabilities for continuously improving driving performance. Powering the Denza N8L EV is BYD's second-generation blade battery paired with flash charging technology, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 960 kilometers.
Achieving a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.252, the model incorporates a second-generation wide-temperature high-efficiency heat pump system, with energy consumption levels 29% below industry averages under normal conditions and 32% lower in cold weather, alongside a new high-efficiency eight-in-one electric drive system, low-drag six-piston fixed calipers, and kinetic energy recovery to reach a remarkably low 13.55 kWh per 100 km.
In terms of exterior styling, the Denza N8L EV adopts an elegant design language featuring meteor sword breathing lights, new 20-inch multi-spoke silver-gloss wheels, and ultra-wide smart welcome power running boards. Five exterior hues are offered: Golden Obsidian, Winter Green, Frost Cloud Black, Snow Jade White, and Mystic Black. The interior presents four color schemes including Coral Red, Amber Brown, Cloud Brocade Beige, and Platinum Ash Gray.
Inside, the cabin showcases microfiber suede cloud velvet headliner, starry sky translucent real wood trim panels, Australian calfskin Nappa leather seats, Devialet theater-grade acoustics, Paris nail-head patterned controls, and plush carpeting throughout the trunk area. Additional features include driver seat active side bolstering and the Cloud-Sky A intelligent air suspension with road preview 2.0 system.
The space configuration introduces a pioneering dry-wet partitioned dual-layer front trunk with 208-liter capacity, featuring a drainage-equipped lower wet zone and versatile upper dry section, complemented by a combined front-rear compartment volume of 1,336 liters and 50 storage spaces for convenient stowage of cups, phones, and wet umbrellas. Safety comes standard with five-star crash protection engineering, ultra-high-strength hot-formed steel cage body construction, steel-aluminum hybrid architecture with 91% high-strength steel and high-toughness aluminum alloy composition, including 2000MPa steel, CTB battery-chassis integration, nine airbags, and a 67-liter side curtain airbag spanning from the first to third rows.
