基地锦标集团（香港联交所GEM：08460）将在即将举行的股东周年大会上寻求股东批准授出股份购回授权。根据公告，公司拟在大会上提呈普通决议案，建议授权董事于股东周年大会当日已发行股本（不包括任何库存股份）总数的10%范围内回购本公司股份。经计算，若以现有265,608,018股已发行股份为基准，对应可回购最多26,560,801股。
公司董事会表示，行使购回授权所需资金将来自内部资源，并将依据相关上市规则及开曼群岛法律合法进行。董事会指出，股份回购措施有望在适当时机起到提升公司股东价值、优化资本结构等作用。董事会同时强调，该计划符合公司及股东的整体利益。
公告同时披露了公司近十二个月内的股价表现，最高价曾达3.00港元，最低价约0.043港元。公司管理层认为，在目前市场环境下，适度的股份回购将为股东提供可能的回报增值空间。
上述回购授权将于公司股东于6月4日（星期四）召开的股东周年大会表决通过后生效。公司股票过户登记将于6月1日至6月4日期间暂停。董事会建议股东审慎知悉并关注后续购回相关事宜。公司亦提醒股东如需投票表决，应及时办理过户登记手续。董事会强调，若取得授权，管理层将会在符合法规及公司章程细则的情况下，在合适时机行使回购权。
