China Star Entertainment (00326) Reports Interim Results with Shareholders' Loss of HK$111 Million, Down 18.16% YoY

China Star Entertainment (00326) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group recorded revenue of HK$257 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 32.69%. Loss attributable to owners was HK$111 million, down 18.16% compared to the same period last year. Loss per share stood at HK$4.56 cents.

According to the announcement, the revenue increase was primarily driven by the multimedia and entertainment business, which contributed HK$123 million in revenue (compared to HK$13.004 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024). This was partially offset by a decline in revenue from property development and investment operations, which fell to HK$133 million (compared to HK$179 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024).
