STERLING GP sees major share transfer worth HK$53.36 million, representing 15.32% of total holdings

Hong Kong Stock Exchange's latest filings reveal that on September 8, a significant position shift was recorded for STERLING GP (01825), with transferred shares valued at a total of HK$53.3589 million, accounting for 15.32% of holdings.

According to the data, the shareholder transferred 1.1658 million shares into Citibank, while 2.2 million shares were moved out of Yuanta Securities Hong Kong.

The company announced on September 4, 2026, its intention to issue up to 8.2944 million placing shares through a placing agent to no fewer than six placees, at a price of HK$6.80 per share. This represents a discount of approximately 19.53% compared to the closing price of HK$8.450 on that trading day. Assuming all placing shares are fully subscribed, the net proceeds would reach approximately HK$55.9 million, earmarked for the group's apparel business operations and general working capital needs.
