The Black Cat Complaints platform has released its January red and black list for corporate complaint handling, with all data sourced from the platform reflecting companies' performance in resolving consumer complaints.
By the end of January 2026, the Black Cat Complaints platform had received nearly 32.74 million valid consumer complaints, with approximately 790,000 new valid complaints filed in January alone.
To more accurately and timely reflect companies' complaint handling performance across different consumer sectors, the red and black lists are not only categorized by industry but also include a "Most Watched Sectors Ranking" based on recent consumer hotspots, providing more valuable reference for consumers.
This month, multiple consumers reported service quality issues with Vienna Hotel on the Black Cat Complaints platform. Some consumers stated that after check-in, they discovered both the room's air conditioning and water heater were non-functional. Despite repeated requests to the front desk for resolution, staff claimed "just changed shifts, unaware of the situation" to avoid responsibility. When consumers requested room changes, the hotel only offered inferior alternatives and explicitly refused refund demands. Another consumer experienced no hot water during late night hours. Although the hotel promised a room change, no staff attended to the matter for an extended period, leaving the consumer waiting over an hour without proper rest. The consumer demanded both refund and explanation from the hotel.

Finally, Black Cat reminds all consumers: The platform assists in resolving consumer disputes without charging any fees. Any claims of charging for complaint resolution under the platform's official or partner names constitute impersonation and fraud. Consumers should remain vigilant and promptly report such accounts to the platform and police.
After filing complaints on the Black Cat platform, dispute resolution involves direct communication between complained companies and consumers. The platform does not initiate contact to assist with refunds. Consumers should use official channels for dispute resolution and avoid trusting third-party agencies or individuals offering refund agency services to prevent scams. Report any fraud to police immediately.
Official complaint channels currently available: - Black Cat Complaints website (https://tousu.sina.com.cn/) - Black Cat Complaints app (download from official app stores) - Black Cat Complaints mini-program (available on WeChat, Baidu, Alipay, Douyin)

To prevent personal information leakage and scams, note the following precautions: 1. Before submitting complaints, carefully check whether text or image evidence exposes personal information such as name, contact details, address, order numbers, or tracking numbers. Hide or blur such information in images. 2. Use official channels for dispute resolution. Do not trust private messages or comments offering alternative resolution methods, contacts, or self-claimed staff accounts. Avoid adding strangers via QQ or WeChat, especially those promising "priority handling for fees" or "special refund channels." 3. Never provide bank card numbers, passwords, ID numbers, or verification codes to strangers. Avoid transferring money through QR codes or suspicious links. Report scams to police immediately. 4. Remain cautious about calls starting with 00 (international prefixes) and do not trust displayed caller names. 5. Legitimate company customer service will process refunds through original payment channels. Be wary of requests for refunds through QQ, Alipay, WeChat, or URL links, and avoid providing personal information or paying "unfreezing fees," "verification fees," or "deposits."
To concentrate resources for better service, Black Cat Complaints currently only accepts complaints related to actual consumer transaction disputes.
