此次股价上涨主要受益于公司发布的亮眼业绩报告。华能国际公布的2025年第三季度财报显示，公司实现营业收入609.43亿元，同比下降7.1%；归属母公司股东净利润达55.79亿元，同比大增88.5%。前三季度累计实现营业收入1729.75亿元，同比下降6.19%；归属母公司股东净利润148.41亿元，同比增长42.52%。
分析人士指出，华能国际业绩增长主要得益于燃料成本降低和新能源业务扩张。国盛证券认为，作为全国电力龙头，华能国际优势突出，煤电利润持续改善，新能源转型成长空间广阔。招商证券则表示，预计今年冬季较冷，公司火电有望充分发挥保供作用，第四季度电量可能出现修复；全年煤价有望维持较低水平，加上两部制电价实施稳定盈利，煤电业绩有望延续高增长。此外，第三季度公司新增并网发电装机容量230.81万千瓦，预计将进一步推动业绩增长。
