The new business unit, called Meta Enterprise Platform, is intended to "help businesses leverage AI to grow and transform in new ways." Zuckerberg said the platform will draw on advantages Meta possesses that "few other companies have," including advanced models, agents, AI infrastructure, and "years of close collaboration with numerous enterprises."
MongoDB shares plunged as much as 27% to $300.45 after the New York open, the biggest intraday drop since March 3. Shares of enterprise software companies such as Microsoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow also fell. Meta shares dropped about 2%.
