UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) surged over 4% in early trading. As of press time, the stock was up 1.87% to HK$130.5, with trading volume reaching HK$226 million.

On the news front, on September 21st, UBTECH ROBOTICS signed a global strategic cooperation agreement with MAXNERVA TECH, further clarifying the division of responsibilities between both parties in humanoid robot research and development, manufacturing, and global market promotion. According to the agreement, MAXNERVA TECH will be responsible for sales, market promotion, and after-sales services of UBTECH ROBOTICS' humanoid robot products globally, while UBTECH ROBOTICS will focus on robot product research and development, production, technical support, and product upgrades to ensure technological leadership and competitiveness in the global market.

Public information shows that MAXNERVA TECH is an affiliated listed company of Hon Hai Foxconn Technology Group. It is understood that UBTECH ROBOTICS' humanoid robots have previously entered Foxconn factories for practical training. With this agreement signing with MAXNERVA TECH, UBTECH ROBOTICS is expected to receive the first batch of humanoid robot orders from Foxconn soon.
