ASL Marine Holdings Ltd. (A04) reported net profit of 17.1 million Singapore dollars for the six months ended Dec, 31 2025 (1H FY2026), a jump of 721.3% from the prior-year period, driven by higher contributions from ship repairs and chartering as well as lower finance costs.

Group revenue rose 5.5% year on year to 181.6 million Singapore dollars, with ship repairs leading growth, while gross profit climbed 24.4% to 35.1 million Singapore dollars, lifting the gross margin to 19.3% from 16.4% a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA increased 12.2% to 44.3 million Singapore dollars after excluding impairment, write-offs and other non-cash items.

Cash and cash equivalents more than doubled to 48.0 million Singapore dollars as at Dec, 31 2025. Total liabilities fell to 342.9 million Singapore dollars from 387.1 million Singapore dollars at Jun, 30 2025, reflecting the group’s on-going deleveraging efforts. In March 2025 the company secured a five-year, 132 million Singapore dollar club loan from three local banks, at lower interest rates and backed by 268 million Singapore dollars of collateralised assets.

The board declared an interim dividend of 0.13 Singapore cent per share.

Looking ahead, the group expects continued demand from marine infrastructure, offshore renewable energy, oil and gas exploration and bulk cargo transhipment in Asia Pacific and South Asia, while maintaining a cautious outlook amid macroeconomic uncertainties. It will continue to prioritise debt reduction, liquidity enhancement and shareholder capital strength, and plans to expand capacity with a third floating dock in Singapore and pursue contracts with shorter delivery cycles in its shipbuilding segment.
