BANK OF CHINA (03988): Hu Zhanyun Appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director

BANK OF CHINA (03988) announced that Mr. Hu Zhanyun was elected as an independent non-executive director at the bank's 2024 Annual General Meeting held on June 27, 2025. The bank has received approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration for Mr. Hu's qualification as an independent director. Effective November 7, 2025, Mr. Hu assumed his role as an independent non-executive director. He will also serve as Chairman and member of the Board's Connected Transactions Control Committee, as well as a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
