英国独立电视台（ITV PLC）宣布，已达成协议，将旗下媒体与娱乐业务出售给天空（Sky），交易总价值最高可达16亿英镑。这笔交易包括一笔在交易完成时支付的12亿英镑初始现金对价，以及一项最高可达2亿英镑的或有现金对价，后者预计在2028年下半年支付。
根据声明，该交易预计将于2027年下半年完成。作为交易的一部分，英国独立电视台计划向股东返还约9.5亿英镑的现金，相当于每股25便士。
协议还包含了相关的解约金条款。如果未能满足监管条件，天空将需支付8000万英镑的解约金。此外，如果英国独立电视台对Love Productions的收购未获批准，该公司也将支付1150万英镑的解约金。
