RENHENG Enterprise Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 3628) has announced that, effective 31 October 2025, Mr. Wu Wei resigned as an independent non-executive director (INED). Consequently, he no longer serves as chairman of the Nomination Committee nor as a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees. According to the announcement, Mr. Wu stepped down to focus on other business commitments.
In the same statement, it was reported that Mr. Cheung Kwong Tat has been appointed as an INED and will assume the role of chairman of the Nomination Committee as well as join the Audit and Remuneration Committees. Mr. Cheung, aged 57, holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from The University of Hong Kong. His professional qualifications include membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, fellowship of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and fellowship of Certified Public Accountants Australia. His background entails extensive experience in Hong Kong’s listing sector and corporate governance, including senior roles at Deloitte China and independent directorships at several Hong Kong-listed companies.
Mr. Cheung has entered into a three-year term as an INED for RENHENG (3628), subject to retirement by rotation under relevant listing rules and the company’s articles of association. His director’s fee has been set at HK$120,000 per annum, determined by the Board in reference to his qualifications, responsibilities, and prevailing market conditions. The Board acknowledged Mr. Wu’s valuable contributions and extended a welcome to Mr. Cheung on his new appointment.
