FINET GROUP (08317) announced that it expects to record a profit attributable to shareholders of no more than HK$2 million for the interim period ended September 30, 2025, compared to a loss attributable to shareholders of approximately HK$4.3 million for the same period in 2024. The board attributed the significant improvement in the group's financial performance during the reporting period to the following key factors: a revenue increase of about HK$3.7 million, or 88%, rising from approximately HK$4.2 million in the six months ended September 30, 2024, to around HK$7.9 million in the six months ended September 30, 2025. This growth was primarily driven by substantial increases in revenue from the group's financial information, advertising, and investor relations services. Additionally, other income rose, including over HK$400,000 in rental relief received during the reporting period and the reversal of approximately HK$1.2 million in payables that were over seven years old and no longer required to be paid.
