GCL NEWENERGY (00451) has announced that all prerequisites under the agreement concerning the initial placement shares have been fulfilled. The completion of the first batch was finalized on May 8, 2026. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement, a total of 91.74 million initial placement shares were successfully subscribed for by the subscriber at a price of HK$1.05 per share. These shares represent approximately 5.17% of the company's enlarged issued share capital following the allotment and issuance of the first batch of subscription shares.
