On the evening of November 15, Bilibili (BILIBILI-W) hosted an online event to announce its 2025-2026 lineup of Chinese animated works, revealing a total of 40 new titles.
Among the new releases, Bilibili is collaborating for the first time with Shenman Culture to adapt the popular Jinjiang novel *I Pick Up Trash in the Post-Apocalyptic World* into an animated series. Classic IPs such as *Chinese Paladin 4* and *Hard to Please* also debuted new trailers, while the TV animation *The Legend of Hei* returns after four years with a new prequel arc titled *Preschool Days*.
For returning series, the annual release *A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality* will premiere its new season in the first half of 2026, *Link Click Season 3* is set for October 2026, and *Yao-Chinese Folktales 2* is scheduled for January 1, 2026.
This marks Bilibili’s eighth annual Chinese animation showcase. Since 2018, the platform has released over 3,000 original Chinese animations. In the past year alone, users spent nearly 970 million hours watching domestic animated content on Bilibili, with Q3 viewership doubling year-over-year. The platform now boasts 330 million monthly active users, highlighting the growing popularity of Chinese animation among younger audiences.
