MCC Schedules Second EGM on 8 May 2026 to Elect Two New Executive Directors

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. (MCC) will convene its second extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2026 on Friday, 8 May 2026 at 2:00 p.m. (Beijing time) at MCC Tower, No. 28 Shuguang Xili, Chaoyang District, Beijing.

Key agenda item • Shareholders will vote on the election of two executive directors—Mr. Li Zhongze and Mr. Chen Yang—to the company’s third-session board. Voting will follow the cumulative system, allowing each share two votes that may be allocated wholly to one candidate or split between both.

Shareholder eligibility • The record date for H-shareholders is Tuesday, 5 May 2026. • Share transfer registrations will be suspended from 5 May 2026 through 8 May 2026 (both dates inclusive). Transfers must be lodged with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, 4 May 2026 to qualify for voting rights.

Proxy and attendance details • Shareholders may appoint one or more proxies; forms and relevant authorizations must reach Computershare (for H shares) or MCC’s Board office (for A shares) at least 24 hours before the meeting. • Reply slips confirming attendance should be submitted by Monday, 4 May 2026.

Administrative information The meeting is expected to last under two hours. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs and must present valid identification upon arrival. At the time of the notice (22 April 2026), MCC’s board consists of two executive directors, two non-executive directors (including one employee representative), and three independent non-executive directors.
