According to market sources, SHUANGDENG (06960) has surged over 6%, currently up 6.38% at HKD 21.68, with a trading volume of HKD 36.6554 million. This uptick comes after NVIDIA unveiled a white paper on the 800 VDC architecture during the OCP conference held from October 13 to 16, which underscored the necessity of AIDC energy storage and next-generation distribution solutions. Huatai Securities noted that the emphasis on AIDC energy storage aligns with their view that AIDC will drive energy storage demand. They believe AIDC could be one of the significant growth scenarios for global energy storage needs in the future. SHUANGDENG is identified as a core player in AIDC energy storage, serving major internet and data center operators such as Alibaba, JD.com, Baidu, Global Data, and Qinhuai Data, and has become Alibaba's primary supplier for energy storage in data centers. A representative from SHUANGDENG previously stated that if AIDC energy consumption increases tenfold, the backup power demand would also likely grow tenfold. More importantly, as green electricity combined with energy storage systems gain traction in data centers, the scale of energy storage will surpass that of traditional backup power scenarios, which could provide the company with broader development opportunities.
