Baidu Reports HK$49.99 Million Buyback on 23 September; Total Shares Repurchased in September Reach 7.25 Million

Baidu, Inc. filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 23 September 2026, confirming the continuation of its September share-repurchase programme while leaving total issued share capital unchanged at 2.21 billion Class A weighted-voting-rights ordinary shares.

On 23 September, the company repurchased 561,800 shares on the Exchange at prices between HK$88.55 and HK$90.00, for a cash consideration of HK$49.99 million. The volume-weighted average price for the day was approximately HK$89.03 per share.

Including the latest transaction, Baidu has bought back 13 tranches of shares between 7 September and 23 September, totalling 7,247,150 shares that are pending cancellation. These repurchases represent 0.265 % of the company’s issued share base as of the 26 August 2026 mandate date and utilise about 2.65 % of the 273.36 million-share authorisation approved by shareholders.

All repurchases were conducted in accordance with Main Board Rules 10.06 and 13.25, and the company confirmed that all regulatory and procedural requirements have been met.
